GDPR is upon us, yet there seem to be a lot of facts listed by different mainstream media that are simply not accurate at all!
So where do you go to get accurate facts?
A good place to start is the ICO.org.uk which is the UK’s independent body set up to uphold information rights. It has information presented in “simple plain English” to help organisations understand GDPR requirements and how it relates to them.
Another top source for GDPR information is the http://ec.europa.eu (The European Commission) which naturally, provides the most accurate, up to date detailed information on GDPR.
Of course nothing beats a legal advice!
In summary, Google is not your friend when it comes to learning about GDPR as that will likely present you with “best guess” information!
Thank you for reading.
